If you ask any Doctor in the United States.. or anywhere in the world for that matter, they will tell you that the best way to lose weight and keep it off is through eating a healthy diet and getting enough exercise. This has been proven to be BEST way to get back in shape without getting oneself into serious complications because it is safe and effective. However, for most parents with young kids, finding the time to go to the gym, look for parking, walk to the locker room, change, workout, change back, walk back to the car and drive home It all takes way to much time. This is not only discouraging to the parent but even when a parent manages to discipline themselves to follow that routine, they're still left with the immense guilt of having to leave their young children behind, sometimes with questionable babysitters. Truthfully, getting enough exercise to help you shed those baby pounds does not need a long trip to the gym with all the hassles associated with it. You can accomplish this right in your family room while staying close to your kids(s) and not have to leave them behind to drive to the gym and get in a rushed workout. You can can have your cake and eat it too and I'm gonnna show you how. Here's a better alternative that will still get your pumped and sweating your butt off. literally. If you do this and do it consistently, there is no reason why you can't whip your body back into shape without having to make that dreaded trip to the gym. As a busy mom or day, you can get your exercise and in, stay fit and and healthy for yourself and for your child. That child of yours can will actually help you get back in shape as long as you know what to do and he or she will have a great wonderful time in the process. Here's an example. Have your child stand in front of you.. facing you if they're big enough to do to or just pick up your child if they're still too young to participate in this exercise. You then pick up your child under their arms and stand up straight. The, you with your elbows tucked to your side, you "curl" your child and bring them right to your face, give them a kiss on the forehead and lower them back down. This really works your biceps and triceps muscles. Do as many repetitions as you can until your arms get's tired. ( I do have pictures to demonstrate if you're interested) Here's another example. Lie down on the floor facing the ceiling. Hold your child with one hand of their chest and the other by their waist. Now, extend your arms and push your child up towards the ceiling and then lower them to your chest and give them a kiss on their foreheads. Kids love this by the the way. Repeat for 10-15 reps or until you can't do any more reps and there goes your chest exercise for the day. You didn't even have to leave the family room. You can actually train your entire body by using your child as "weight" and get the same benefits as you would with a dead dumbbell except this time you actually get to spend time with your child and enhance that bond between the two of you. So, go ahead and give it a shot. It you want more examples on how you can spend time with your child, while using their weight to get your daily exercise and bond with them at the same time, we have them and they're all demonstrated in pictures to make it easy for you to follow. And as you do this, you will also find yourself inventing new exercises for you and your child.
