The reasons that are most used for this kind of delay involve military deployment, hardships due to unemployment, or going back to school. Unfortunately that does not stop the interest from accruing during the period of deferment.

Student loans are in existence to help individuals that want to further their education. This gives them the monies they need for the incidentals, supplies, and books that they need. This will also give them the chance to pursue a career that really interests them.
