The effects of stress have an overall damaging result on all aspects of your well-being and health. However there are ways that you can deal with them successfully in the workplace.

One quick and easy stress management tip when hyperventilating due to panic attack is to breath or do yogic breathing. Deep breathing or aerobic types of exercise are known to have multiple benefits.

People who have health concerns which require medical intervention should consider discussing any stress issues with their doctor or medical practitioner so that you can stay well and they can help you manage any problems. If you have to take time off work because your condition may have been made worse by workplace stress attempt to give reasonable information to your boss about what is going on. Keeping your supervisors in the loop can counteract any problems at a later date especially if you were forced to take leave in order to obtain stress relief.

Sometimes issues arise when work colleagues fall out and then others may be needed to get involved to support either side through the issues. If this happens to you any mediation should be seen as supportive of both sides with the aim of creating a good outcome for both parties. A compromise is often how these situations are sorted out making sure that no one side feels they have lost in the conflict.
