Would You Like To Find Some Great DJ Courses?

It's not easy to find great DJ Courses. One has a few things to consider. What types of DJ education do they have? A lot of the DJ schools offer the standard 2 turntables and a mixer. If you really want to develop your "chops" and make a solid foundation, this can be the way to go. The newer methods use computers as the music source eliminating the need for records. Serato Scratch and Traktor are the two main programs that do this. This can be a great tool for pros as well as aspiring DJs as you only need to carry your laptop instead of a bunch of records.

You should also ask if music production training is offered in the course. This can be really cool if you want to make your own remixes of songs. One popular program being used by the likes of Deadmau5 and other big names is Ableton Live.

Some classes are run by aspiring Djs and some by famous one. Just because a DJ is famous doesn't mean they will be a good teacher. Some of the most amazing teachers were not necessarily the best DJs. That being said, being able to learn from someone with a lot of knowledge is priceless. Try to find a combination of both!

You must also decide what type of class format do you want to take. Do you want to find a local class and learn from a teacher in person or do you want to learn at your own pace on your own schedule and take an internet class?.

If you go to classes, you can have a teacher really show you the ropes hands on. This can be very beneficial when learning something new. This is generally the way I like to learn things.
